| Description | Course Description: HAZWOPER 8 Hour Awareness This course is designed for personnel who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release. Topics include: hazardous materials recognition, identification, and risks; potential outcomes associated with an emergency incident; the role of the awareness level individual; site security and control; the Emergency Response Guidebook; additional resource needs; and, notifications and communications.
