HAZWOPER 40-hour Technician/Incident Command

This course is designed for personnel who respond to releases or potential releases of known, unknown or high risk hazards and are expected to perform duties that require the highest level of protective equipment (Level A). In addition to the 24 Hr Technician topics, this course includes: establishing and implementing Incident Command; coordinating with other agencies; performing high hazard risk assessments; identification and verification of materials; control, containment, and confinement methods; plugging and patching methods; victim rescue, gross decontamination; documentation and termination.
