| Description | OSHA 10 Hour - General Industry
Covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards contained within the OSHA 29 CFR 1910 as well as other general industry safety and health practices. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA Standards as a guide. Guidelines specific to Cal/OSHA are included as well.
By the end of this course, successful students will be able to locate and apply OSHA Safety and Health standards, policies and procedures and use them to supplement an ongoing safety and health program. They will be able to identify common violations and propose abatement actions. |
