OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training for General Industry

This course is designed to train personnel in the essentials of occupational safety and health in a general industry environment. This OSHA 30-Hour Outreach course covers OSHA policies, standards and requirements, including safety and health principles for the general industry. Our course puts emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. This training is intended for people who have some safety responsibility. Upon successful completion of this OSHA-authorized course, participants will receive Cal-OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Outreach course completion cards.

Topics include, but are not limited to: Introduction to OSHA; managing safety and health; walking and working surfaces / fall protection; exit routes; emergency plans; fire prevention plans; fire protection; electrical; personal protective equipment; material handling; and hazard communication.
